Dr Anna Kwartz MSc PhD DipTP(IP) MCOptom has been an optometrist for over 30 years.  She has 15 years experience in optometric medico-legal work.  Anna has written over 400 reports on the subject of optometric duty of care.  She has been instructed both by lawyers for the claimant and the defendant and has also written reports on behalf of insurers, loss adjusters, the General Optical Council, the General Medical Council, the Police and the Independent Office for Police Conduct.

Anna has a reputation for being thorough and assiduous and for a rapid turnaround of reports and correspondence.  Screening reports are also available, if required.

Anna is a registered independent prescriber who works as a high street optometrist and also as a specialist hospital optometrist, so can comment on a wide variety of cases including glaucoma, retinal detachment, macular degeneration, brain tumours, paediatric examination and contact lenses.
